In Asia, Deeside designs, installs and maintains Flexible Flowline Subsea Systems. We mainly promote two products to cover the entire range of subsea flowline applications:-

MANULI LONG LENGTH flowlines are available in pipe diameters 4", 6" and 8" produced in lengths of up to 300m. The Manuli product is a rubber bonded flowline offering superb technical properties in water depths of up to 450m and nominal operating pressures of 55bar. It's smaller bending radius allows a choice of lightweight compact installtion options. This makes it an excellent choice for Asian waters as it can be procured and installed quicker at a much lower cost than comparative flexibles.

DEEPFLEX is a pipe of non-bonded, non-metallic construction. It's lightweight and well-suited for deepwater, multi-phase oil and gas flowline applications. Available in sizes ranging from 2" - 16" inch diameters produced in continuous lengths up to 3 kilometers and pressure ratings to 15,000 psi.

Extremely light due to its 100% composite and polymer construction that also eliminates fatigue associated with steel. Is reusable and easy to deploy. Chemically inert. Resistant to CO2/H2S and all forms of oil field production chemicals including methanol. Superior flow assurance at all temperatures. A natural insulator that reduces the potential for hydrate and wax formation inside the pipe.

Both products have been proven throughout the world and are suited for pipeline replacement projects, early well tests and marginal field developments currently being contemplated in the Asia zone. In particular for FSO/FPSO clients these unique products combine to offer unparalleled savings in terms of project costs and reduced lead times.
